Okay, I love them, well used to atleast. They don't really have anything here anymore, so: Wasn't there a mod that really enhanced them? I found one but it's just outdated and I wonder if I missed ...

I wish the plantsims would be updated. Strangerville with all the weird plantstuff would have been the perfect scenario to update them.
The cheat is technically no longer needed. The emotion beans are found in the rare seed packets, which your Sim can get if they have level 10 gardening. The tree stump is available in build mode. So you can get forbidden fruit without cheating.
Other than that, yeah... the PlantSims from older games sound way cooler. :(
