what do you mean "how?" they just are. there isn't a special explanation they can give you and even if they could I doubt it'd sate you. it's unfamiliar and new content for a game they play regularly and enjoy so they're excited. you can be skeptical of the content and EA's intentions as well as excited. those aren't mutually exclusive.

everyone's got their own thing, dude. we're all individuals. I just want rodents capable of murder and some people want clothes for a cat.
its still shocking and even downright confusing to me. while i get that i just again cant really wrap my brain around the fact that people are actualy excited for this.
