So which is more lucrative? (Candle Making Question)

Question

Which would ultimately get my sim more money? Making candles and selling at Makers Space on a table OR with the crafter career and getting paid per gig. Right now I have her doing a 200% markup and the level 1 dipped candle sells at $75 per candle. Maybe i'm answering my own question as I type this, if I did the math I would just have to have her sell more candles at the table than what a gig would pay out. haha.

Unless anyone else has anything to add?

Bad at maths, but level 1 candle on 300% is $100 and takes very little time to make. The others give like $25 more and take 2 hours more to make.

Am I wrong in thinking the higher the price markup the more difficult it is to make a sale?

The gigs give thousands later on, so it's worth advancing in the freelancer career.
