(Spoiler) Patchy...

My Patchy is great -- he gardens, he mops, he does laundry and takes out garbage, and he entertained my toddler a lot (the toddlers now grown to child). Only goes on the computer when there's nothing else to do, and you can stop that by locking the room where the computer is for household only.

Same here... my Patchy is a big help around the house. lol :p

Patchy has been a great help to my single mom...well "single" maybe when yours came alive there wasn't enough to be done or it could be a glitch.

My Patchy likes to watch TV. :joy: He doesn't do much else...

My Patchy is a slob. He does my gardening and then digs through my trash. He always leaves my house a wreck!

How do I get patchy to work?

I have Patchy in two households so far, and depending on his traits, he's either: watching TV, dancing, playing games on computer or working out. I locked the door for household only, but he seemed to still enter the room with the PC in it. He might be considered part of the household, even if he's not actually part of the family. Can't ask him to properly move in yet.

My Patchy is a little iffy... Mostly he waters and weeds regularly but quits if I haven't interacted with him enough recently. Caleb (my fave NPC to make move in and a part of my family) is now the only Sim IN the family. XD
He got a whim to turn Patchy into a vampire and I was like, let's do it! He finished the transformation today and briefly showed his dark form...
He looks like the genie from Aladdin's lamp! ?
Wondering how he'll do as a vampire... Hope he doesn't starve. ?

I always lock the door to the computer room for Sims who are not in my household, so Patchy has no other option than helping around the house >:)

You have to have a sim interact with him until their relationship bar is fairly full. For me he usually comes to life in the morning and goes back to his post in the evening.
