Sudden Glimmerstone in Inventory, wheres it come from???

Do your Sims have a cauldron on their lot? I had a Sim who hadn't visited the Magic Realm, wasn't a spellcaster and lived alone buy one to make Mac & Cheese. Almost immediately after it was bought and placed, a glimmerstone showed up in their inventory.
