These were many similar issues that constantly occurred in Sims 3 that forced me to completely turn off celebrities altogether. I actually remember one situation in Sims 3 when my adult Sim was a 5 star celebrity and telling her own son that he "wasn't worth talking to" or whatever because he wasn't a celebrity like she was.
I guess the developers still haven't learned from mistakes in the past (yes, I'm aware that Sims 4 doesn't have the same people as Sims 3). I haven't actually played the game since 'Get Famous', and was super excited to actually have celebrities that function well, but I'm now disappointed after reading this. I hope the developers end up fixing this issue in the next patch. It shouldn't even be a hard thing to tweak either... they should just make it so ANY NPC worker will act professional, with or without a celebrity present. This should include DJ workers, spa workers, bartenders, waiters/waitresses, hosts/hostesses, chefs, etc.
Then again, we've had 'Get Famous' for several months now... and if this issue hasn't been fixed yet, then I don't think it ever will. They'll probably just come up with a ridiculous excuse for this feature. After all, The Sims 4 is all about "weirder stories".
This will probably be their response:
"This is just how the game is programmed. We wanted it to be a quirky experience for all your Sims to enjoy! Sorry, we can't fix it... but here's a free female hairstyle we've created 5 times already, but this time with a slightly different texture than the others!"
