My vampire offspring are given odd alternative forms too. Some have even ended up with different head shapes.
I don’t really play mermaids much, but I’m now having that issue with vampires. Their dark form says it’s linked, but they don’t even look like the same Sim.
Same here, with some of my teenage vampires I've had to try and re-model the head shape in their dark forms to match the original.
