What I like?
1) I love the concept of multi-tasking. Being able to chat in the library while using the PC is fun, and I especially love the eating while listening to the radio. It cracks me up when my Sim Reid takes a bite and then dances in his chair. Awesome.
2) CAS is brilliant. I really like the way you can choose different colors for each clothing option. Great idea.
3) I like the pre-made rooms. I love building houses, but sometimes you just want to get to playing.
4) The Sims seem to be more intuitive, and the social interactions seem endless. "Tell Unbelievable Story" is my favorite!
5) I like the smaller neighborhood size, so far. Curious to see how it goes when everyone starts aging.
What I don't like?
1) I'm not sold on the loading screens. I'm fortunate enough to have a computer that can handle a demanding game. So I was never concerned about a delay with a loading screen. So it isn't that. I just really like the concept of an open-world gaming platform. If I see it, I can go there. Think Skyrim. Pretty cool concept.
2) It seems like my Sim doesn't have any free time. Maybe it's just me? But he seems to tire and get hungry really fast.
I'm trying really hard to immerse myself in S4 and get used to it. I've played this game from day 1, and I don't intend to stop. My fav was/is still S2. I had an amazing neighborhood of friends and family all intertwined with one another's lives. I enjoy playing several different families and developing them all simultaneously. I am hoping S4 will be more like this. We shall see.
I'm banning myself from playing any other Sims version, so I can get used to this one. But with the other versions, I was sold on the new one instantly. I had no trouble stopping myself from playing an earlier release. This one, I'm having to use some restraint from just jumping right back into the world of Sims 3. I'm being patient, willing to wait and see what the EP's have to offer...so here is your chance EA...DAZZLE ME!
