So I have been a loyal Sims player since the beginning and I was probably most excited for this new installment. Unfortunately I am so disappointed.
• I am missing the create a style feature, without it I feel like I can’t make anything my own.
• I find the view changing keys to be counter intuitive; it’s weird trying to turn the camera to different angles.
• I wish the worlds were open like they are in the Sims 3. I don't like that it takes me to a loading screen when I am just running across the street. I thought this would be a basic feature carried over from the Sims 3.
• Where are the toddlers?
• I can't figure out how to move out only one member of my household.
• Where are the pools? in the Sims 3 I thought it was so awesome that I could go scuba diving, the underwater play was impressive so I don't understand why there are no pools (even simple ones, even the Sims 1 had them)
• I wish I could set more of my sim’s person preferences like favorite foods and color.
I understand that a lot of the content I am missing will eventually come with expansion packs and add ons but I think there needs to be some major changes patched into the base game.
It’s not all bad! There were a few things I really liked. The create a Sim (while lacking much variety currently but I'm sure will change) is interesting. I like the push and pull feature to alter body and facial shapes. The game runs really smoothly (other than the noodle people).
