- I think this better suits the speculation forum. Im not waiting on Sims 5, because I play Sims 4 every day and it keeps me busy <3
- It's a very bad article, and none of the points outlined by the author support the statement he's trying to make. The freelance article writers that these kinds of websites hire rarely ever know even a little bit about what they're talking about.

??? :# Have they played any other of the previous games???
Really grasping for straws with that article. Gurus rarely confirmed an Ep, another GPS and stuff pack for this year. Really all just speculation on their part. - Seera10246 years agoSeasoned AceIf Sims 5 was any time soon, EA would likely not bother with ending support for 32 bit systems with Sims 4.
The fact that they are, means that we've got at least a few more years left of Sims 4 development before Sims 5 will come out.
As to the points in the article:
Great year for the series could mean that they've got great EP's, GP's, and SP's set up for the year.
While it might be outdated, with no competition, this leaves EA to set the pace for when it releases Sims 5. None of the previous versions ended due them being outdated.
Games take several years to develop. The fact that they are hiring now means that if it is indeed for Sims 5, we're likely a few years out. - I doubt Sims 5 is launching "soon" when the gurus keep saying they have years more content planned for TS4.
- They wouldn't be much if they did - as they only put the call out for jobs back in September of 2018. It takes several years for a new base game. The earliest I could see Sims 5 is in mid 2022 other wise it will be worse than how Sims 4 started.

I also think if there is going to a 5, we still have at least 3 to 4 years of Sims 4. - Sims 5 will be annouced in 2 years. It will be released in THREE. Thats my guess :) But not based off of anything to do with this article.
- The link didn't work for me. But it looks like just about every game changer over on Youtube are now talking about TS5. They are all speculating of when it will be released. Do they know anymore than we do? Probably not. I think they all are a little late to the party because this forum has been speculating about TS5 for a few years now and they are just now gearing up and putting out videos to talk about TS5. It has a lot to do with SimGuruGrant no longer being senior producer of TS4. (All their speculation). But when do we usually see developers and other team members move off a current game to go work on a new game? About a year before it's released. So, yeah, the truth is out there and only about a year away in my opinion. :D

Those job offers were to join an already established team. :)
