- It's the only one I don't own so far too. I was never sold on it when it was announced, and I'm not that interested in an ice cream maker either so I watched a few let's plays from various simmers and there's still not really anything I miss. Some of the pictures were cool if I remember, but I'm not about to spend £8 for a few paintings. I've got into the habit now with stuff packs of not buying until I've seen at least one let's play and there's definitely going to be things I make use of in it.
- I have all the packs but no one says you have to get it. The game does get better though with all the things each pack adds.
- Really? It's one of my favorites. :)
- It's okay... it's my least favorite and I nearly didn't by it but then I remembered my contractual obligation to be EA's slave and so, of course I did. I don't use a lot for the pack (I NEVER use the ice cream maker) BUT what I do use I use a lot so I'm glad I got it. It was ten dollars so I missed lunch at McDonald's that day and bought it instead, good trade off in my opinion.
- Cool Kitchen is actually my favorite Stuff Pack :p The cas items for females were amazing, the kitchen clutter was nice and I use the ice cream maker all the time in my daycare.
- I love this pack. I use the cabinets, counters and decorations for my kitchens. The female CAS items are great. I also love making certain flavors of ice cream for unsuspecting guests when I throw parties. :D
- I love it ! It's my favorite, because I use the CAS assets, the Build/Buy mode items and the gameplay object all the time.
- I think it depends on your need, as many would say. I myself didn't get it as it didn't impress me and my style of gameplay as opposed to, say, Movie Hangout, a pack that some may consider a weird one with it's mish mash of movie night and boho themes. Some even compare the popcorn machine to the ice cream machine, which is understandable as well. Putting emphasis on a key item does make one think they're really only buying the pack for that item. For myself, I just found it was more value for myself with all the stuff in the pack than Cool Kitchen was as, while I do like working on the cooking skill and ice cream would be awesome, it didn't give my game anything I considered a personal 'must have'.
Now should Cool Kitchen go on sale for a fairly low price, I may consider it. I like new experiences for my sims, but I'd probably be more inclined to pick up Spooky Stuff, another pack I don't have, rather than this one. Even then it really depends on what I want to do.
For those that have it and use it, I hope you keep enjoying it. I've seen some great screenshots from the set. For those that didn't really enjoy it so much, I am sorry you were disappointed. Finally, for those wondering if they should get it, judge accordingly. If you think it will enhance your game, then maybe you should consider it, if not then you can move on or consider it another time. - odeouNew SpectatorI own it, but I hate it. I think there's only one thing I use and it's the asymmetrical skirt. I paid £8 for the skirt. Lol.
- I actually really like kitchen stuff and get a lot of use of it. I always use the kitchen clutter, counters and hairstyles in my everyday gameplay. It fits me well along with Spa day GP.
The stuff packs that I hardly ever use is Spooky stuff pack and luxury party pack.
