To The Limit: Hamster Ghost Vampire

Hey there, crazy kids!

So with the upcoming MFP SP, we found out that vampires can contract the new illness, die from it, and end up as those hamster-suited ghosts, with vampire powers! This alone makes me want to play out a vampire for the very first time! >:)

Now, I thought I'd spice this idea up a bit, because as much I love the idea of humiliating a vampire in such a way, it's just not enough, you know?

So I'm trying to up the misery factor for this vamp. So... I figure... well, they'd probably have to live in the TLC apartment then, since that's about the worst place to end up living in the game. But what else? What are some other fun ways you can think of to make a vampire (or maybe any sim in general really, but vampires for sure) miserable?

Should I give them the trait so they drinks the plasma bag or whatever, so they aren't even able to drink from other Sims? :D Are there any lame powers that vamps have that I could give them? What about a job? I was thinking maybe the scientist career so he could suffer the indignation of being abducted, but do aliens abduct vampires??

Help me out! Give me suggestions! I got all the packs, but I play vanilla. No mods, and no I don't want any. Just fyi. Thanks!

You could try some of the more interesting lot traits to make his life more intense. I've never been brave enough to use the cursed trait maybe you could try that one. Creepy Crawlies is another fun trait that works in San Myshuno though the sims don't get poisoned by their invasive jungle fauna. To get that you might have to set him on a little jungle adventure, let him try all the trap options without having to figure them out.

Have you checked out all of the vampire weaknesses yet? Ohh my friend! You are in for some good times ahead. >:)

You can give them Withered Stomach so they can't eat Sim food, but if they do, they vomit, so you can keep feeding them. Then give them Guilty Drinker so they won't feed from Sims without permission. If you want more of a challenge, throw in Sloppy Drinker on top of that, so they barely get nourishment from what they do drink. But be careful because if their hunger gets really low, they'll flip out and start attacking random Sims. Pile on to any of these with Fitful sleep, so your vampire also gains less power while sleeping. Top this off with either or both Day Phobia, which makes powers more likely to fail during the day and generally stresses the vampire out, but also makes them more likely to die from the sun, or Eternal Sadness which will make them very depressed and gimps their powers and social capability sometimes.

Personally, I think the low level hunger/feeding related ones would compliment the mouth-foaming hamster ghost pretty well.
  • You'll definitely want a screenshot of a rabid vampire ghost doing the hissing animation from the Uncontrollable Hissing weakness and then putting his paws over his mouth in embarassment!

As for misery, how about the Loves the Outdoors trait?
  • Also, a suggestion to torture them is to force them out onto broad daylight until they've almost toasted, then I bring them back in again, replenish their energy a bit, then rinse and repeat.

    Good ideas!

Quick question: Can vampires feed off aliens like other Sims?

    Yes

If you have Jungle Adventure you may wish to check some of the effects of different relics...
