I Just *KNEW* They'd drop them out of no where. They were obviously working hard behind the scenes on something, and I always maintained that ever since that picture leaked of the render for the family in the EA world, and the lack of steady releases. Things *slowed* down. Updates became a little lighter than the year prior. All worth it. I felt they would just released them with no warning so that no one could nit pick how it was done. I'm cool with it, but I do wish they had just officially said "they're being worked on", it would have saved a lot of hoopla IMHO.
However, KUDOS AND BRAVO to the Sims 4 team. They look incredible. The Sims 4 Sims style is my favorite and the toddlers are just as cute. Last week I kept thinking I should get Sims 4 while it was so cheap, even if I didn't play it until toddlers was released. When you least expect it there it is, and my last post on this forum like 2 days ago was all about not expecting anything anymore and just seeing what happens and blah blah like I let go of wanting it and it showed up, out of nowhere. I'm excited. Now I want to join the Sims 4 right away. Really regretting not buying it last week now. Didn't trust myself! SMH
It says alot to me today about how much that aspect of the game meant to me. I've been saying all along since I had to wait so long for toddlers (my deal breaker on moving on to a new series) that I might as well wait for my other two favorite features and have a nice start to a new Sims game for once rather than waiting for all your favorites to be remade and released (pets, seasons, cars etc and so on). Toddlers though however was never something that I thought was negotiable. For 10 years I've played "this game" regardless of it's add on content and EP features, with the generations of baby, toddler, child, teen, yA/Adult in some form, and then of course elders. That literally *broke* my desire for it.
So as "one of those Simmers" from the data pool, that wouldn't move into the Sims4 era until toddlers were returned, I think the team dearly for bringing them back to the game. What it proves at the end of the day is that toddlers are very special to my game play, because now my desire to jump into Sims4 is strong right now. I can see myself jumping into The Sims 4 prior to the other features coming. There is a lot about "The Sims 4" that i absolutely *ADORE* and can't wait to explore, but toddlers were an epic game breaker and I spoke a lot about it over the years. Kudo's to the team!! THANK YOU! I look forward to jumping into the game. Now, where to acquire the money to buy the whole series all at once? Because I'm a hard core stanning type simmer, so... if I have Sims game, I have all of them. So that's what 3 EP's and 2 GP's and 9 SP's right?
Y'all realize I may overload right cuz theres so much for me to explore out the gate by waiting all these years for toddlers. LOL I knew this moment would come tho :)
Fun fact: Today is a "Full Moon" in the sign of Cancer. This zodiac is associated with the home life, and family. Rules that house in astorlogy. I find it *fantastic* that they released them on this day. LMAO! #astrologyisreal
