Townie household generation problems

very interesting thread @Luthienrising I had been curious about what and why certain townies are generated. I know the game makes mailmen, delivery people, bartenders, maids, gardeners, etc.
I've taken to paying close attention to who shows up in venues for what jobs so as I don't delete those townies any more. I take the names of the bartenders, gardeners, mail people, and sometimes those I see walking around in the delivery uniforms.
Right now, I have 130 sims in my unplayed bin. I went through it after reading you post and this is what I found in mine (i didn't include those I modified to add children, but only counted the initial sim before modification) :
16 elders (10 m/6f)
65 adults (38m/ 27f)
26 young adults (11m/ 15f)
14 teens ( 7m / 7f)
9 children ( 6m / 3f)
5 households were the mom, teen daughter and child son.
ETA I have one child who is all by herself and one teen who is all by herself. I always play with aging off for the townie bin so I don't know why it generated a little girl with no parents. And I always see her on the playgrounds.
