This was annoying me quite a lot.
The other day I went to Manage Households and removed any households that had more than one of the same last name, just in an attempt to add a bit of variety to the name pool.
I cannot believe how many of them had not just the same last name, but first name as well!
I even ran into duplicates, like two "Tetsu Yamaguchi", two "Akito Okada", THREE "Oumaima El Khouri" and so on.
There were so many Yamamoto households, and almost as many Gupta, Sakamoto, and Nakamuras.
And checking back today, the game has already started generating duplicate names.
And like others have mentioned, they seem to favor City Living and Vampire outfits, hairs, and accessories.
Why are these names so weighted when it comes to townie generation?
