Werewolf Fate/Love System?

I ran into this last night for the first time, and I was horrified by how easy it was for two Sims to become 'fated' after an innocent flirtatious interaction. I have always taken a lot of time to find the perfect life partner for my Sims and this instantaneous connection rubs me the wrong way. Their likes/dislikes, traits, everything that makes up a Sims' personality, is thrown aside and ignored by the game. Granted, I have had only a few days of actually playing the pack, but now that it has happened with my main Sim, effectively destroying the storyline I had in mind for her, I am looking for a mod to let me control things a bit more before I go any further with her story. I'm still enjoying the pack. I like almost everything it has to offer. But this one little thing really bothers me.
