Honestly, I've been switching back and forth now based on what my Sim(s) that I have actively playing are doing. If it's romance, I take one or flip back and forth with those, no t necessarily "tunnel-vision" completing them right away. If I'm having them exorcise and stuff, take a fitness one. If doing 'nerd' stuff, a tech or knowledge one, family stuff then one of the family ones, etc etc...
I'm actually getting myself into the habit now of watching that and switching back and forth to what could give more reward points at the moment.
I'm using cheats less and less now that I have a good base of households already. Going for the 'honest' challenges instead. :)
@SimAlexandria You can cheat in as much reward points as you want. You don't need to cheat finish aspirations.
