- I wish they could choose subjects in school and that would impact their university choices. I also wish there was consequences if they get an F, like summer school or military camp.
- littlesims3chick5 years agoNew SpectatorAcne that’s actually real instead of a fake face overlay.
The sims should have insecurities and phases where they need to discover what they want to do with their life (mainly towards the end of their teen years).
Cliques would be cool, hobbies, after school clubs, tutoring, science fairs, study parties, graduation, prom, peer pressure, pranks, more responsibilities around the house like a chores system, sneaking out, food fights.... etc.
There’s so much they could add. - drama getting in to trouble playing pranks

Summer school would be so cool!!!! We could have military camp if the sim got into a lot of fights and had a negative reputation. They could implement chance cards while the sim is away at military school that will affect their ability to leave earlier or stay longer and have their traits be affected if they don’t make the right choices in military camp. - > @SimThoughts96 said:
> Here's the best solution for dealing with inaccurate teenaged sim portrayal.
> 1. Make the current teens the young adults. They might not represent teenagers that well, but as a 24 year old, I feel that teen sims represent 18-25 year olds a lot more accurately than young adult sims. The creators only need to turn high school into community college, add full woohoo and marriage capabilities, lower the minimum age for University access, remove the "ask about woohoo" interaction, remove timeouts, make their bodies a tiny bit more filled out, and add some age appropriate phases.
> 2. Make the current young adults regular adults. The current young adults give off a late 20's/early 30's vibe as opposed to a late teens/early-mid 20's vibe.
> 3. Make the current adults middle aged adults. They look like they're at least 40 and could be made to look as old as 64/65.
> 4. After reformatting the current teen-adult phases, the creators should create a new teen phase with teens who are shorter and younger looking from day 1. These teens shouldn't be allowed to live away from home, should still be allowed to play with toys without the childish trait (some younger teens still play with toys), and should have all the rebelliousness of Sims 3 teens.
If the above suggestion isn't feasible, there should be a "School Life Expansion Pack" that includes the following...
- A WIDE RANGE of extra curricular activities including band, choir, orchestra, sports, dance lessons, student government, board game clubs, and more.
- The abilty to build schools can be unlocked.
- Toddlers could have the option to go to preschool.
- Special events such as basket raffles, bake sales, school concerts, school carnivals, magic shows, school dances, field days, and more can be added.
- If the seasons pack is also present, school could be out of session in the summer.
- If tweens aren't added, child sims could be given tween romance interactions, an "I'm too embarrassed to be seen with my parents" phase , and tween clothing.
- Teens can have homecoming weekends, proms, graduations, more options for rebellious behavior, and teen parties could be added.
- Child and teen sims can be given height presets so they can be used to portray a wider range of ages.
- Sleepovers could be added in either this pack or a different pack. - > @Sallycutecat said:

I agree with your point. I also don't want potentially triggering high school drama such as cyber bullying to be added to the game. Many people use this game to escape from the harsher realities of real life. - I would want teens to be more affected by their parents. If their parent is mean to them, they might be mean to everyone else. If they are constantly getting praise about how great they are, they might be more self absorbed. If their parent are an athlete they might follow in their footsteps. Stuff like that, would just make the game so much fun!
- The height thing has no easy answer, because typically, females complete their development a lot younger than males. A 16 year old female is basically done growing, whereas a 16 year old male is barely getting started and could continue growing until he's in his mid 20s. One guy I knew was shorter than me when he was 20, and by the time he was 25, towered over me by several inches. But that also is different in different ancestral groups, so there's no way any of that can be represented realistically in the game.
As for cliques, I too am glad the game doesn't force stereotypes on teens, and anyone can use Clubs in Get Together to satisfy a desire for cliques...in fact the game comes built-in clubs that are essentially cliques and you can even make your own."Bookworm2009189;c-17769149" wrote:

If you get Parenthood, you'll have the thing you seek, in that parental influence has in-game effects. Fear that it would be automatically forced on my game by the pack, prevented me from buying it for a long time, but once I was assured that I wouldn't HAVE to enforce a curfew, or micromanage or helicopter kids or teens in my game, I went ahead and got it and it added a lot of flavor. My one beef is, the random pop-up "opportunities" to affect a teen's or kid's character values by being asked for advice on this or that, and no matter how you advise them, they increase in one character development area, and lose ground in another, and none of it makes any sense to me at all, so I find it very annoying.
But yes, getting Parenthood can give you the Family Bulletin Board, and all kinds of opportunities to wield parental influence to your heart's content, and put up with all kinds of awful phases and moodiness if it's the flavor you savor. - PROM and toilet papering houses/being rebellious. Right now the mood swings don't do much except give you an emotion buff.
