In the current save I have going, I've used Newcrest as the center for the music business. I have a singer Sim. So the place is dotted with concert venues both outdoor and indoor types (it does rain in Newcrest). I have eateries there, as well. From Fine dining to Italian to a place I call Kitchen Korner. I've also got a Spa and when I use the SimRealist Mod Private Practice I have a Clinic there, too.
I really like the idea of making it into more of a community lot oriented world. I did see someone else on this thread or another, sorry I can't remember who, mention it being hard to find space in the other worlds for cool community lots. I need to come up with a headcannon for Newcrest and tie it to another world as a suburb of sorts and then go down the path you guys are with it. Or a liveable destination world.
