All sims kids and babies should be able to go with their parents places. The game has no business deciding otherwise. Strangers cannot come into our real houses and tell parents what to do with their kids (unless it is mistreating them of course) - neither should a game. That takes away from the reality of a life simulation. So I agree babies need to not be locked to a piece of furniture or forbid from entering where ever the parents can go. My kids went to restaurants with me. We had birthday parties at many restaurants over my kids lifetimes - why is my sims kids unable to have a chucke cheese birthday party? Nuturing kids is part of raising kids and they should be able to be with their parents not day care. My kids never went to day care - EVER!
