I will say that Cottage Living is the best pack for me.
The way you can add a lot of challenging fun to the game by applying that lot trait "Simple Living" I think it's called - where you can only make things using ingredients that are in your inventory meaning you must farm, go grocery shopping, etc. for specific ingredients - actually added a huge gameplay element that was missing for me. So for that alone I rate it as my favourite EP and the one I consider to be the best out of all of them for not only that lot trait but farming in general. It's great having a cow, chickens, foxes, etc. in an "off grid" house. It made the game a lot more enjoyable whereas other packs haven't done that for me. They're fun for a bit but it gets old once the gimmick isn't shiny and new anymore ... whereas CL has a lot of replayability for me. I'll also add that CL actually made the Eco Lifestyle GP a lot more relevant for me and I started actually playing with it whereas before I didn't really touch it.
