I still think the Ask To Leave interaction looks rude.
It does look rude. I wish we could just say Goodbye and have the sims leave. Asking someone to leave is what you do if they upset you.
After I installed Seasons I noticed that my sim was getting calls around 3am everyday from her boyfriend wanting to go on a date. I did not like that. If the sim you are playing called someone at that time they would receive an angry popup so it's unfair that other sims can call you at that time. I solved it by moving her boyfriend in with her.
There's a friendlier ask to leave mod (the Sim just waves pleasantly) but not sure if it got updated for Seasons yet.
I'd like to go back to the way it was in Sims 3 where the goodbye was different depending on relationship. Acquaitances got a handshake, friends got a hug, romantic partners got a kiss. That was one thing that Sims 3 got right.
Sims 4 does that with greetings. However friends will kiss both of each other's cheeks if they're in Windenburg, to simulate the culture of some parts of Europe.
