The community feedback about skin tones, hair textures, and hair colors has been listened to. We also have bunkbeds and ladders. What the next big thing YOU would put your voice behind to see happen in the game?

The only one that seems to me to be on the same level as the skin-tone update is having the option in the flip-down panel for gender-neutral pronouns.
I want some of the other things but don't particularly think they are the "next big cause"
Unless I'm confused? (Sorry)
Agreed. Along with continuing to fix some hair textures and ensuring inclusion of racial diversity, the non-binary pronouns seem like the next logical step.

I don't disagree. Even though I voted body hair, pronouns is my #2. But so wonder how well supported the issue is, will game changers make statements about this like they did with skin tones, for instance.
• option to turn off random townie generation •npc manager that lets you set your own sims for any npc you might need •romance interactions •couple dancing • memories •turn ons and turn offs •likes and dislikes •wants and fears •better family tree •stop culling my sims
take a pick i guess. I couldn't sum it down to one thing that would instantly fix everything :/
I mean... I wouldn't consider these big causes (except for non-binary pronouns) :| Skin tones, hair textures, and hair colors were about diversity and representation, for which the game was extremely lacking. With much stretch, you could also say body hair? The rest seems more like a wishlist -- and definitely not on par with the big changes needed.
ps: Don't get me wrong, I want all of the things you mentioned added to game :D
Body hair and pronouns were the only two things on the list that actually feel like "causes" to me, because they're important for making sims the way people want them to be. And as a non-fan (don't hate it, just don't love it) of body hair, I'd rather have pronouns, even if I think that's the more difficult one to implement due to some languages not having suitable options.
I mean, yes, I want more occults - especially werewolves. Yes, I want cars, and yes, I want hotels. But those aren't "causes" They're wants, and in the case of hotels and occults, probably not even particularly difficult ones. They just need to find the right secondary themes and work them into the schedule.
As for the rest... There are a couple that I think are already in the works, so making them the community "demand" I think would be detrimental if they decide to rush something out (see: Bunk Beds released in a workable, but not quite finished state.) There are others where I don't think people realize the complexity of what they're asking for, so it may be a while even if they are working on it.
I logged on just to vote for Body Hair. It's about letting people make the sims they want and to reflect another facet of themselves. It's not about examining any ratio of people who like it vs. don't like it, it's about allowing all players to accurately create the world and sims as they desire by including a very real and common part of being a human.
Building on/repeating what @DaWaterRat said, body hair and pronouns are really the two things on this list that focus on making the game more inclusive. Therefore, those should be priority items and preferably patched in. (As much as I want werewolves/more occults, body hair wins my vote 100% of the time.) Though I do agree, that body hair would likely be significantly easier to implement of the two.
Honestly, I like big beefy hairy males and in TS4 I can only get big beefy males :'( It's such an obvious thing in a life simulator yet it's missing, makes you wonder why.
Also, about non-binary pronouns, not all language have them, which is why it might be difficult to implement.
