For me it was between Discover University and Eco Lifestyle really. I picked Discover University because I don't like the uni gameplay. It's a grind and there's not much fun included, also there are problems combining it to rotational play and on top of that I dislike the world... What I do like though is having two different unis and the servos are loveable. So yeah I also love them all, but I just wanted to pick one I like the least.
I agree that it's a grind. I started using a mod that let's you cut down on the credits needed to graduate to 4, 6, 8, or 10. So only one or two terms are needed. It's great. - allthemore442 years agoSeasoned Ace

Snowy Escape for me. Mt. Komorebi is beautiful, but you pretty much have to live there to use the winter sports. Just vacationing isn’t enough to get good use out of them. It didn’t help that the solution to the onsen bug that glitched out mountain excursions was to create a new save, so I had to move all my sims and their stuff to a new save just to use a feature. I was interested in the Lifestyles, but they’re so poorly tuned and glitchy that I had to turn them off. Teens get the single lifestyle before they even think about dating, workaholics are always stressed because of the moodlets, and my one outdoorsy sim couldn’t even handle the vet career because it was too much time indoors.
Yeah my sims always get workaholic, hungry for love, and people person. Almost never any other. - Get to Work
being first ep its just so sad
there is so much potential with the features of this pack
but it feels like none of it is really complete
it could be my favourite pack, but it is stuck in bleh
so that is why its my least favourite it makes me sad
emotions aside I would probably say
Eco Lifestyle
mostly because it doesn't inspire me much personally
I like that I could use it for like Into the Future kind of stuff or whatever
or like idk it goes pretty well with GtW
but its just like this pack alone tho?
not too into it.
unhonorable mentions for C&D and Get Together for the unswimmable waters
I almost felt like picking those just for that cause the worlds are like telling you to go swim or boat and you can't - alanmichael12 years agoSeasoned AceBoth. Uni is destroyed by endless boring homework. IL has no gameplay at all.
- elizabethjane8182 years agoSeasoned AceUni is horrible. Did it once, and was bored out of my mind. At least with high school, we got boba tea and creating outfits.
- SEREFRAS2 years agoLegendEco Lifestyle gives me mixed feelings. The Evergreen Harbor World, blah. :s The furniture, windows, doors, pictures & plaques, great. :p
Now as for Snowy Escape I really like everything in it. B) The contrast of Winter & Spring with the beautiful Asian decor of the Mt. Komorebi is wonderful. Plus I so love the winter snowy Mountain. <3 - BissenNess2 years agoSeasoned AceI love all the EPs I own. Yes, there are some things I could criticize here and there, but the parts I enjoy about them are features I get a lot of mileage out of in my game play.
For my most disliked pack I chose a pack I don't own. Had a hard time deciding between Eco Lifestyle and HSY. I decided I wasn't going to choose one of the packs where I'm not interested in the overall topic. Never owned a cat or a dog IRL, never understood the appeal. I can't say I dislike the Cats & Dogs EP, though. I'm just "Meh, not my thing."
With HSY, on the other hand, I was really disappointed. For me, the part of my own high school years that I liked the most was the time after school, hanging out with friends. Before HSY I kind of had this idea of a Teen (not high school) Game Pack that would have teen social groups functioning similarly to clubs in the Sims 2 Free Time. HSY gives us a tea shop, which is not really ground breaking since we already have coffee shops. You can be a streamer, but didn't we already get that in different forms in both Get Famous and City Living? The after school clubs are mostly rabbit holes. It's a disappointment. - manicobsessive12 years agoSeasoned AceI'm not sure if this counts or not as I have never played it, but Eco Lifestyle is the only EP so far I have no interest in owning, and is the only one I don't own, so I will say that, because I love the others. :)
- PandoraTO2 years agoSeasoned AceOf the EPs I own (all except HSY, Growing and HR), I like DU the least. As others have said, the system is too much of a grind. I find living on campus boring and also disruptive to my style of play, which is usually legacy. The world is also boring and is the one my sims visit the least. Plus, I hardly use most of the bb, which is kind of ugly. I get the most use out of the cas; at least I can dress my teens in it and they look less like adults.
- thornwill2 years agoSeasoned AceI really love ecology and sustainability but the way it was developed in that EP didn't really attracted me, and Snowy Escape it's really beautiful and well made but i feel like the gameplay it's not for me.
