  • I say Realm of Magic because I think the gameplay is fun, but I LOOOOOVE the build items. Stained glass windows and doors that are just lovely. And Glimmerbrook is a pretty neighborhood that has a handful of good-sized lots. Exploring the magical realm was so fun the first time-it really is designed beautifully. I will say that although I don't really care about Strangerville that much, the build mode and CAS items collaborate really well with the stuff in ROM.

Dine Out is probably my second choice behind ROM, because I enjoy creating different restaurants for my sims to enjoy. I create custom menus with City Living recipes to help my sims learn the food stall recipes faster. (So they're not always having to wait for the Spice Festival to learn how to make curry, for instance.) Going to a restaurant is a much more fun date for your romantic sims than heading to a bar, too. They enjoy it more. As far as bugs go, I have found that if you don't over-complicate your restaurant builds, you should be ok. I had some bugs in the beginning, but I think they have cleared up most of them with patches.

Vintage Glamour has some really great buymode items that I use to decorate all the time, and I agree that having a butler for your rich sims to order around is cool.
