Why can't children learn magic?

There isn't much at all for children sims to do. I really wanted them to be included in mermaids and RoM, they are ignored. It was awesome they included children in the vampires pack, but why are kid sims getting snubbed with the latest packs? :/
&Why make a Harry Potter themed pack and then not allow any children to even learn magic?
Does anyone know of a mod, maybe?
Im so sick of having to search for a mod to finish the work that should've been done by EA. JS

    The main problem of this mod like in UI, because it require script mod.

    @GamingTweety The mod had little problem like no xp and perk on spellcaster kids UI because that need script mods, and for ridding brom, it's hard make broom touch kids sim :lol:

    Because sims 4 is a millennial simulator and sims developers dont care about family game play. I dont expect occult children to be fully into their powers but just some idle animations or something like that wouldve be nice like sims 3. Didnt even get any clothing in the pack for children or toddlers

    In my game I just pretend their powers dont fully manifest until puberty aka teen stage.

    I wish kids could do some basic spells and at least make potions and etc in a kiddie cauldron or something
