My first Butler was for the Landgraabs mansion. (My re-made Ebabbits) Since they didn't work, go to school, rarely cleaned, or even cook, a butler was a necessity. :D
I had no problem with a butler when I found out how to make one instead of a random one. No CC or Mods, just give him/her max skills on certain things and the hidden 'butler' trait. I also gave the 'neverweary', 'hardlyhungry', that sort of thing.
Without mods or CC this works really well since the butler (like the maid and nanny) is a full-time non-played NPC.
Just a day or two ago I checked out LittleMissSam's butler mod. I haven't play-tested it yet, but it looks like she not only fixed any bugs for the butler, but also improved them.
I really like the service NPC's like the butler, adds more to the household without taking up one of the 8 slots. :)
