Will our hamsters die if we send our sims on vacation?

This is one question that hasn't been answered. I want to assume they won't because dogs and cats seem to be taken care of when sims go on vacation but the one thing I'd worry about is the hamster sta...

Oh good cause my sims generally take 7 days or longer on vacations.
