- Kathykins7 years agoSeasoned AceIf I have to choose, it would have to be City Living. The careers don't have any appeal to me, and I can't have my sims live in appartments for very long. Just can't deal with the limitations and annoyances. Festivals are fun to experience once, maybe I'll visit the Flee market once in a while to see what's on offer there. Takes 5 minutes, then I go somewhere else. I hardly ever use the clothes for my sims either, and I will edit any townie I see with those horrid, patterned sweaters :s or just delete the sim altogether, depending....
Shared second place: Get To Work and Cats and Dogs. - XxAirixX7 years agoSeasoned AceI love get to work. I like that my doctor sim actually has a functioning hospital, same for my detective and scientist sims. It makes things more interesting and interactive When I don't feel like loading screens, I just send them work on their own. My only complaint that it doesn't feel like they have enough time to really do everyday as once their shift is over, they are automatically sent back home even they are in the middle of something.
I say Get Together. I use the clubs and all that and the world is already; but overall seemed bland. With City Life, can at least live in a apartment go to festivals (though the same ones over and over do get boring after awhile) and learn tons of new recipes, like the fireworks, etc.... where Get Together, there isn't much to really do. Go to another club or bar where they can't get drunk and do silly things like dance on tables? Meh. I only really use the Club function and that is it. A bit disappointing as I thought it would of had offered more. - I don't think any of them are bad i love them all.
- riggirl7 years agoSeasoned TravelerI don't really have anything against get to work. But since I rarely use it for my gameplay, it's my least fav. But I wouldn't say worst.
- I didn't vote because for me, there's no such thing as "Worst EP in the game", maybe there ,s but for me, not really.
First of all, let's compare GTW from CnD - I still did not include seasons cause i haven't really play it (lol, us of us do too  ).
Obviously, GTW is the first EP in the game, I think it may be lame, but it's like comparable to a pilot episode of a tv series, it never really showed us any y'know stuff and still hasn't got gave us the true potential of a true expansion pack unlike CnD which it gave me the best satisfaction in the game yet, and the moment I'm writing this, is the still latest EP. EPs have now evolved in the game, more and more features are being added.
Compare Luxury Party Stuff to Laundry Day Stuff, (Obviously, it has a very very big differences (gameplay, build\buy objects, CAS items)
Cause What you know, they haven't still got the true potential of what a stuff pack could be in the sims.
LP stuff is like WTF and Laudry Day is like STFU cause this is OMG and LMFAO!!!
BTW let's stay on topic here, like I said. "There's ain't the worst EP in the game" It's like the first game in any franchise. (The First Sims, The First Final Fantasy, the first GTA, y'know what i mean"
I hope some of you can get what i mean. - Even though I say Get to Work is my worst, I still like it and enjoy playing its content from time to time.
It's just that it is my least favorite as far as content goes. Once you have done all the careers, it kind of loses its luster and becomes overly repetitive. Coupled with the fact that non-working sims cannot visit those hidden work locations (as they could visit and "tour" the police station, hospital, and science lab in 3) there is not much left to do.
Get Together was going to be my original choice, but I really do love Windenburg and the dancing and the nightclubs. I just don't use the club feature much.
I am hoping that Seasons will become my new favorite, but it is much to early to judge it either way. Until then, Pets is probably my favorite...but mainly because of the awesome seaside neighborhood and its home decor. Absolutely love that!! - I'm not a big fan of the city we got. The clothes are loud and look like they belong in a circus, don't care for these festivals either.
- LatinaBunny7 years agoSeasoned AceGet to Work, for sure!
While I liked bits of the Doctor career, it was very buggy, and I felt that the careers could have been more immersive and connected to the sims’ lives (ie. the sims can visit the hospital when sick; sims can get arrested by police and go to the jail; etc). - GrumpyGlowfish7 years agoSeasoned AceSo far there hasn't been an expansion pack that I really dislike as a whole, but if I have to pick my least favourite, it's City Living. San Myshuno is impressive, but still my least favourite world (well, apart from Magnolia Promenade, which I don't even consider a real world), the stay-at-home careers could have been implemented better (and there could have been more of them!), and, my biggest disappointment, we can't even build our own apartments (granted, that wasn't the focus of the pack, but still something I expected based on past experiences). It's also the pack that started giving most game-generated townies names that are very difficult for me to pronounce or even remember.
As for Get To Work, I hate the retail system for its bugs and stupid limitations, they should have spent more time fixing that rather than creating a new 4-lot-world that (I think) barely anyone even uses, so I can understand why this pack seems to be winning the poll. But I do enjoy the active careers after all (even though they're not without bugs either), and some of the other features that came with it. - LiELF7 years agoLegendI really can't vote this way. Putting Seasons on this list is kind of silly when no one has seen any gameplay in action, even on a live stream. It's very premature to already call it "worst ever!" and just makes me think that some people want to hate it just to prove some subjective point.
For the rest, I could say that there are things I dislike about each of them, but there are also things that I have found regular use for in each as well. As far as an overall cohesive pack, Get Together always felt to me like it was a mish-mash of things that were intended for the base game and thrown together with a new world and a random theme stamped onto it. But that doesn't mean I hate it or don't use it, because the club system and Windenburg are very valuable to me.
I used to feel that Get To Work was my least favorite, but then I realized how much I love the Aliens this time around and I really enjoy the Scientist career. I also do feel like we got a lot of interesting stuff with the pack, like jail walls and new rewards and build/buy, so now I feel like I've underrated this pack.
Cats and Dogs is, to me, one of the best so far, aside from the lack of actual pet objects, which is where I think they dropped the ball. But I'm very happy with the behavior of the pets and the way they interact.
So I guess that leaves City Living as my least favorite. There are probably more things in that pack that I don't care about or use, even though I like having a city with apartments and a new type of environment for my sims. I really only like the Spice District with the Brownstone buildings and also the bubble blower. The other locations have a weird aesthetic for gameplay, the festivals get old too fast and have no exceptional features, and the talking toilet is so ridiculous that I can't believe they didn't include an additional mesh of it as a regular chair that turned up at the Geek festival. I don't care much about karaoke or basketball either, so I guess if I had to live without one EP, it would be City Living.
