A few issues driving me nuts!
- Storage: When I have shelves and things stored on those shelves (crystals, potions, etc.,) if I leave the house and come back they’re all in my inventory again and I have to reset them every single time.
- Fire: I have a sim that is maxed out on cooking, baking, and gourmet cooking. I’m using the Schnapple oven (most expensive.) and yet every single time the oven is used there is a fire. It happened 4 times in the same Sim day. Now my sim randomly gets tense from fear of fire.
- Fears: every single one of my sims get the “fear of unfulfilled dreams” and comes home miserable from their jobs. I have one sim in particular that I put through almost every career offered. He is very into fitness, so I made him an athlete. Surely that’s what he’s passionate about yes? No. He cries every day when he comes home and gets tense when arriving home. I decided to use Motherlode cheat to give him enough money he could quit his job, but he still gets the fear. I’ve turned off “Show fears and wants” and it doesn’t work.
- Build mode error: when I download a lot from the gallery it always gives me the build mode error and tells me an insane amount of items were removed.
WHAT IVE ALREADY TRIED:
Fire: I’ve tried cheats, none of them work. I’ve made sure there’s no carpeting, wood, rugs, under or near the oven. I installed the fire sprinkler system, nothing.
Fears: I check Gameplay Options every time I load the game and it’s still unchecked and yet every Sim shows them still. I’ve done the “regain passion” right before they go to work, and yet they come home still upset.
Build: I’ve tried the free build cheat, move objects cheat, make sure only the packs I own are selected, nothing works.
I play on PS5. Before commenting a suggestion please read through what I’ve already tried. These issues are driving me nuts. I’ve tried cheats, I’ve exited and restarted the game, nothing works. It makes me not want to play some days.
