A Way To Stop Unplayed Households' Child and Teen Sims From Joining Scouts

I'm in the process of creating my own save file and with that comes making my own households. The problem is, every time I enter a new household to add their careers, skills, or whatever other stats I think they should have, I'm seeing all the teens and kids from my other households walking around in scout uniforms while having never assigned them to that after-school activity. Through my minimal research, I'm assuming they're automatically joining Scouts because I've marked them as unplayed, though it's a little frustrating having spent all this time creating lives for these Sims just to find my grungy teen rebelling against his rich family and society as a whole to be walking around trying to collect his little scout badges. And even when I go back in to his household to make him quit, he just joins again once I leave!

I've posted with the assumption that there's probably not much that can be done about this (other than maybe keep ALL these households as played or just try ignore the inconsistencies) but I was curious if there was absolutely any way I could stop this from happening? I had hoped MCCC would be able to stop this, but I haven't found much while aimlessly scrolling through the menus. Not even sure there's mods out there that can tackle this, but I'm shooting my shot.

Any insight would be appreciated!

  • @KyyaoKyyao I don't know of a mod that will stop this, but yes, the game will use unplayed Sims for walkby roles. You might be able to get *some* control through Neighbourhood Stories, *if* the option to join/not join careers affects after-school activities. I don't know if it does or not.
