Accidentally deleted cache folder

Question

HiI accidentally deleted the cache folder from my Sims 4, no idea when.&nbsp; The game runs, albeit a bit slow, though whether it is from the missing folder or from the latest CC I installed.&nbsp; I tried creating a new cache folder, also copying the cache folder from a backup created a few months ago, but when I run the game, the new cache folder disappears.&nbsp; Must I have such a folder in the game?&nbsp; If so, how do I get it back?&nbsp;&nbsp;

@mirasaui  The cache folder recreates if you connect to the gallery. It downloads pictures from the gallery.
