ACTING CAREER, Cannot tell director ready to perform

I'm having an issue where, when i go to tell the director im ready to perform, my sim talks to the director, then suddenly my sim becomes the background extra and the option to 'tell director ready to perform' disappears and i cannot start the performance.

@jonabona97 Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? If so, have you tried removing those ?

Try removing everything and see if it then works.
