Actions Side bar not showing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.146.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Star wars, Throwback Kit & Bust the Dust Kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? by playing the game
What happens when the bug occurs? the Interaction/Action side bar disappears for some sims... nearly all my sims but a few have the actions on the side bar...and because the sims without it...im unable to cancel or see what they are doing because the bar and interactions are invisible
What do you expect to see? a fix
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.77.146.1030 & cottage living caused it ☹️

I've tried repairing game and clearing Cache...Still same issue.

it is very frustrating that i can't cancel or see anything my sims are doing or going to do

i've attached a screenshot to show what i mean..and in my screenshot i have asked my Sim to do something but my glitch isnt showing that...

even in this Sims family..hes the only one whos bar and interactions i can't see..

    I finally Solved it!

    the only Sim giving me this error was the problem.... he was made by my best friend so he was saved in my library when i did this...but i deleted him from the household...and added a new version of him from my library. after i went back to live mode of the household... my household pictures bottom left weren't showing but the interaction bar was showing atlast for all 3 sims...so i restarted my game and the sim pictures came back... and all characters including the bar are working perfectly...i did this with my mods still there.

    if you are worried about losing relationship and romance thingy...i recommend using Deaderpool command center to restore the friendship/romance levels if you are too lazy to start again..it'll also add relationships such as husband,wife, mother,father,son etc. but i do hope this helps anyone else struggling with this error

    HI  @AndreaHope 

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Nope never solved it and its still an issue.

    ive stopped playing sims while im having these issues

    Hi did you ever find a solution to this? Im having the same issue and feel like ive done everything I can to fix it but nothing seems to work.

    Yes but even with them removed i’m still having the problem so its 100% not my mods or my cc.

    @rianafoote Did you delete the localthumbcache and try a game repair after removing the mods ? Did you disable the mods or move the entire mods folder to the desktop ?

    Does it occur on all saves or just a specific one ?

    Ive done all that. Ive removed the entire mods folder to my desktop and all my saves, not just one.
