So my sim is in the actor career and a mod (realistic childbirth by PandaSama) had put her on family leave. The mod isn’t an issue but I just wondering how my actress sim will go back to work. I’ve b...
@JonaO703 Alright, I’ll play on the weekend and get back to this thread. The thing is I’m worried cause she’s in the actor career and idk if the work days are the same. I’m unsure if the family leave will end. If you know about that I’d love to hear it, but I’ll try myself on the weekend.
@ReshmaDeodat Apologies, I somehow missed your reply post. Did you figure this out? Is your sim still on family leave? I did a bit of research just now and found a couple similar threads. In one of them on the Carl's the Sims 4 Guide, someone suggested sending the sim on vacation to possibly reset their "vacation" status. This option worked for the OP there so I thought I would mention it.
@JonaO703 hi! I wanted to try waiting it out before I did anything else, but I did try the vacation method. Unfortunately I didn’t work so maybe I did something wrong? Do you know the steps to that?
@ReshmaDeodat The only way I know of to take a vacation is through the phone. Click on the phone, then click Travel and then click Take a Vacation.
After you choose a world and a rental home, you can choose which sims will go with your sim and then you can set how many days. When you click the final check button, you'll get a load screen and your sims will spawn at the vacation rental. Perhaps you could then test ending the vacation, sending everyone home to see if that resets the "family leave" issue. If not, you could just exit without saving and then test sending them on vacation and letting them stay there for at least one day. I have no idea if this will work but it might be worth a shot. :-)
