after downloading the new update my game crashes.

after downing the new update that released today dec 5th my game doesn't fully launch. it opens then crashes with an error report. i have once actually gotten it to open but my whole house was blacke...

Mine is crashing periodically as well. I removed script mods but it's still happening.

    @Aygeia Try removing the entire mods folder (drag and drop to desktop temporarily) and test in a new save.

      Thanks, I've since tested:

      -new mods folder

      -new sims 4 folder

      -repair client

      -reinstall game

      etc. I'm still having issues with the game crashing every time I start up.

        When you made the new Sims 4 folder @Aygeia , could you start a New game? If you drag Saves and Mods back out again and delete localthumbcache, can you make a New game?
