Age bar does not move Sims 4

So I've hit a bit of a problem, it looks like a common problem where the age bar has just stopped for some sims and not for others.

I've a few sims in the household, most are aging up fine, but two of them are stuck. One was a townie, now a household character, another was born into the household. I've also noticed a fair few townies are living way past what I'd of expected. Im almost five generations in and some elders are still there.

I've turned on the auto-age for everyone, set it as long.

As for fixes, I've tried turning auto age off and on again and restarting the game, but the two are still stuck at 93 days and 54 days respectively whilst the others continue on as normal.

I've also tried removing the weirdo trait via ctrl shift c, but it didn't seem to have any affect.

I'm running things with no mods and have tried repairing the game via origin. The problem persists.

Any help would be really appreciated as I'm really enjoying the generational play otherwise and these two immortal beings who have infiltrated my household are ruining it for the rest of the wrinkly folk.

Thanks!

  • @neonday I'd suggest either giving the two that aren't aging age up or age down potion from the aspirations reward menu and see if that does anything or I'd reccomend aging them manually with a birthday cake as it may remind them that they're supposed to age
  • @neonday What are the names of these Sims ? There's quite a few traits/Sims that have aging set to off so you might have picked one of these.
