@SmileyGirl1221 Please repair the game: open your EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair. Please move the Mods folder to the desktop before testing; you don't need to save your progress.
If that doesn't help, please start a new save, for comparison's sake, and see what happens.

I downloaded the game through steam and I don't have the option to repair on the ea app. This is seriously plaguing me because my son just got deleted.

@Anime_emipre838 You can repair in Steam instead. The option is called "Verify the integrity of the game files" or similar, and it used to be under Properties > Local files but may have moved.

If a sim has disappeared in-game, and you can't quit without saving, try reverting to a backup save.

The same thing happened to me and I lost my child sim.

@DReisch23 Actually losing the Sim can't result from these mods being broken. You might want to post about that problem on Game Issues . The issue with these mods is that they don't appear in the CAS menu on Children or Teens, where they should. It's a CAS issue, not a function issue.
