All food when cooking is labeled "Prosiutto"

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.84.171.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Base game, Holiday free stuff, Seasons, Cats and Dogs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click a stove and go to cook. Everything in the menu is labelled as "prosiutto".
What happens when the bug occurs? Everything in the cooking options is labeled "prosiutto".
What do you expect to see? I expect the food to have the proper labels, like "cake" or "fish tacos".
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I removed all of my CC

    • MizoreYukii's Color Sliders for Hair and Clothing
    • 15 Clubs Per Sim (King Zace)
    • cookbook/tablet mod for custom food

    I am not seeing this in a mod (and cc) free game (I've checked after today's update and SDX).  I recommend trying again without your mods in.  FYI, there is no prosiutto in the game, so I expect this is caused by one of your mods.

    I also have the same issue, even for the devices you can invent for the scientist career. All of the devices are labeled prosciutto.

    @torchickentacos I had the same issues, I removed mods and it fixed my game.

    CM Edit: I appreciate you were trying to help, but those mods are not allowed to be mentioned here under any circumstances. I've edited your post accordingly.

    @torchickentacos Moving this to game issues. Please make sure to delete your localthumbcache file after removing mods. If that doesn't help, rename the user folder and test on a vanilla game.

    @lilian_shaoren , this is caused by a Mod conflict. Please read all the above replies, especially Crinrict's reply above yours! 😉

    everytime i try to cook it freezes and the list where all the recipes are all have the same name which is “ proslutto” it’s been like this for a couple days how do i fix this?

    I had the same issue. I also had a cookbook/tablet mod for custom food, I removed it and that solved the problem.
