Allow script mods

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.62.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? The sims 4, sims 4 get together, sims 4 get to work, sims 4 city living, sims 4 get famous, sims 4 vampires
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into game > Game Options > Other > allow script mods
What happens when the bug occurs? I check the allow script mods box but when I restart the game like they tell me to, the box is unchecked automatically. My script mods are also not working.
What do you expect to see? That when I log back into the game that the box is still checked and that my script mods are working.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

  • Try the following steps

    1. Close the game
    2. Move the following file to the desktop: documents\electronic arts\the sims 4\options(.ini)
    3. Start the game
    4. All your options will be reset to default so you need to reset them one more to time to what you want them to be
    5. Save your changes and close the game
    6. Start the game. Now the settings should hopefully stick.
