Animal shed not completing the clean action resulting in loss of animal

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? buy cordelia's lot and attempt to raise a llama?
What happens when the bug occurs? bought cordelia's cottage that came with the animal shed then bought a llama as well as a chicken. chicken is fine but my sim has cleaned the animal shed numerous times and it never seems to complete, which resulted in llama being removed as not cared for.
What do you expect to see? the animal shed should be spotless after its been cleaned like 10 times
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    I repaired yesterday but forgot about the cache file so thank you for that. This seems to have done the trick, at least for the most part. It seems to be an intermittent issue now, which i can deal with.

    @crinrict I am having the same problem, but I cannot seem to find the localtumbcache file and I have repaired the game. Is there something else I can do?

    @PrincessBrat2  The localthumbcache.package is in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  It's a file, not a folder, so it may be below the list of folders.

    @puzzlezaddict I found the file and I deleted it, but it still didn't work. So I went back and checked to make sure and it was there again. Every time I delete the file, it come back. How do I stop this?

    @PrincessBrat2  The file is supposed to regenerate each time the game loads; the point is to have a fresh copy rather than one containing stale data.  Deleting the old copy accomplishes that.

    Have you in fact removed all your mods as well?  If not, please try that now and delete localthumbcache again.

    If that doesn't or didn't help, please buy a new shed and test on that.

    I had a similar problem, my sim would walk in and strait back out without cleaning the shed. If you have cheats on, hold down shift key and click on the shed. Will be an option the make the shed clean. It will automatically make it clean.
