Omg I thought I was the only one this happened to. I have no idea what happened with this game update, but my game got SO much slower... But anyway, I didn't 100% 'fix' the issue since my loading screen is still taking ages, but at least it actually loads.
Have you tried moving your 'mods' folder somewhere else to see if the game opens to the main menu? I tried that first, but I was still getting the infinite loading screen. Then I thought it might be my DLCs, so I took them out for a second to check, but that didn't fix anything either. I ran out of ideas, so I started clearing the cache files like 'localthumbcache.package' and kept moving my mods folder in and out to test it.
At one moment, I persisted with the loading screen, and it finally loaded after like 20 minutes. I couldn't fix the super slow load times, I just gave up and accepted it lol, but at least my menu finally loads. I still don't know exactly what I did to fix the error, but I just kept messing with the files and checking if my mods had the right files for each mod I downloaded. I don't know if my game is taking forever to load and got super slow because my PC can't even handle all the game's stuff anymore. But it was definitely right after this specific update that it got to the state it's in now. :(
Mine works normally without any mods or CC, so I was pretty sure something in my mods folder was causing the issue. I spent all morning doing the 50/50 method, and it turns out it was some CC clothing that was breaking the game. I’m not sure exactly which item it was because I ended up removing quite a few pieces from that creator, and that seems to have fixed it. It’s still not loading as fast as it did before, but at least I can get into the game now.
Hey could you please tell me the name of the creator? I have a lot of custom clothes in my CC and I would like to know if I have that specific creator in my CC
I’m not 100% sure this was the problem, but after I removed some clothing CC from Boschiana, my game finally loaded. It’s still not loading as fast as it used to, but at least I can play again.

what is the 50/50 method?
Basically out of your CC/Mods folder,you take away half of the files in there and you leave the other half so the game can recognize it
Something similar happened to me,I've been trying to play it since the last update and it goes extremely slow,I thought it was my CC/Mods,but no,all of my mods are working fine and have no issues. It used to load pretty quickly before I did the update,and nothing fixes it and I'm extremely frustrated at that. I tried absolutely everything I could.
