Anyone Having Issue A Looped Loading Screen? Sim 4

I found that if I started a family with a challenge such as making money and moved my sim into the apartment in eco life. I found that it was too tiny for her surprisingly growing family, so I wanted them to move in with a sim she was dating. Still, I clicked add Sims to family and just swapped her into the pre-existing household I got stuck into loading screen.. at first, I thought, meh maybe my PC is a little slow today.. I'll do some of my school work while I wait.. he didn't change 3 hours. Then I started getting concerned, so I hit the window key to open the start menu, task manager, and end task because I couldn't access the menu within the game, and the game wouldn't stop running after I right-click the icon on the taskbar l, close window... So you opened my game. I tried two other methods of moving Sims. I tried to play as pre-existing household, but then I got stuck in the looped loading screen again... On the same file... Then I tried managed world edit household transfer household will the exciting household, which also led to a looped loading screen... So I tried backup an old save from the night before I last played, and the same thing happened... So the later last night, I tried to play Sims on a new save. I wanted to try a new scenario: break up, but then I found that I needed two sims in the household, so I canceled the challenge and then started playing islanding living world and then when I clicked traveled so my sims could do nature job task I got stuck with looped loading screen... So IDK if you have something to do with scenarios or just move/travel your Sims around the game. After I finish my college work, I'm going to try to play Sims normal without clicking the new scenarios tab at the start menu. And click start new game.

  • @Nerd_Humor09 I don't know if this will be of any help in your case, but I had an issue with my game hanging up a couple of nights ago, details and what seems to have helped for me (a game repair) below. I went in after updating the game in the middle of the night two nights ago... First time the spinner kicked in after I went to the lot's basement (no Sims on the lot, I was trying to work on a new build). Then I gave up and force-quit the game then re-entered. This time when I got to the world view I got the spinner and could go no further. This happened 4-5 times...

So I gave up and closed the game then ran a game repair. Tonight I opened the game and same lot with no issues. I would recommend to make sure your game has the latest update, then try running a game repair and see if it helps:

    • Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game
    • Let it run until it has completed all repairs (it will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits).
