Thanks @Elisabetta I found them at simsasylum but it seems they haven't uploaded a fix for the detective careers, just the reworks for science and medicine. Oh well, hopefully either EA or one of our community's talented creators can fix it soon. Its disheartening to have such a great career in game that's completely unplayable.
