Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? The newest one.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Download the mods 2. Try to use it but its not showing up.
What happens when the bug occurs? The mods don't show up.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I reinstalled mods.
So, I got Sims 4 earlier today and tried downloading custom content and mods. When I go into the game, whatever I downloaded appears on the menu. But when I go to character creator, ONLY the custom content shows up and not the mods. I've tried literally everything, reinstalling the mods and my settings are on. I don't know what to do.

Also be aware that a lot is outdated and needs updating with yesterday's patch.

I've read the replies and got the .rar files figured out and they work. But I'm trying to do what you've suggested in "Common pitfalls" with the .zip files and they don't show up. They show up when I boot up the game, but not the character creator screen in which some traits were supposed be there.

Could you post a screenshot of your doc folder where you have these mods ? (make sure to remove any personal information form the screenshot)Here.
