Unfortunately that doesn't apply to my problem. I don't use gameplay mods, I just use build mode cc like furniture and such. The ones I have downloaded aren't on any of those lists so I'm still confused. I appreciate your tips though, I'm still trying to figure out what the issue is 🙂
@delgrif27 I merged your post with the main Mods FAQ. Please refer to the first page for common pitfalls. Most likely is that your game is using a different user folder than you think (such as icloud). There's instructions how to check which folder is used.
