Hi, I've had a similar issue and cannot seem to find what's going on. I was wondering if anyone could help. After EA bought out Origin and had a few updates, NONE of my CC and Mods from The Sims Resource were showing in game. I tried everything the other person said. Uninstalling, reinstalling the game, moving the folder and repeating the process, to check the new install without the mods and adding the mods/cc. Nothing seemed to work. To add to this, when I still had Origin, I shared my account with my sister and niece, who have the game downloaded on their computers as well, and it has never posed a problem; even after they downloaded their own cc to their computer files using the same website (Sims Resource) but not having a TSR account like me, just using as a guest. But after EA bought out Origin, my account won't load CC that I've had before them even using cc. Why would my account, the main account, be the only one having issues? At this point, I'm ready to try anything. Even if I have to delete all my cc and mods and start fresh with new save files, if it means I can use cc again.
Hi @Dusti_Jayne A few things to look at:
- Do you have Documents inside OneDrive on your computer? If so, breaking that can help solve Sims 4 content issues. There's a support post for that at https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-saves-user-content-disappearing-PC/td-p/12475370
- If you're not using OneDrive, refresh your gameplay folder: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Exit and then copy the contents of the folders that are inside the desktop Sims 4 folder (Saves, Tray, Screenshots, Videos, and Mods -- but not the resource.cfg file) into the fresh folders that the game has made.
- If you're using the TSR app to manage your CC for you and other solutions don't help, getting support from TSR directly might be your best option.

Thank you so much. I will definitely try that. I have since uninstalled the game from my PC. I will re download with a fresh/wiped cc manager and see if that works. If not, I will try the options you stated and if all else fails, I will contact TSR.

@Dusti_Jayne If you find you're having issues with the TSR manager, you might want to consider shifting to manually managing your CC.

I was thinking that may be a easier case. TSR is subscription based if you want to use their CC manager. And since I haven't used TSR or Sims in months, I got rid of the subscription. They do offer free downloads and it manually goes in the mods folder. I uninstalled the cc manager (and restarted my pc) prior to downloading the Sims again. I will see how that goes.
