I played sims 4 on console before I decided to move to my windows laptop so I could have mods (I have a hp laptop 17) I downloaded sims off EA and launched the game, I was watching a video on how to download mods because I wanted to download Lumpinou's mod Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul, ALL-FILES-IN-ONE-CLICK so I went to my file explorer and saw I didn't have a documents folder so I thought maybe it's because my laptop is more recent so I found a Program file folder under my windows file folder i clicked that and saw an EA games folder and a Electronic arts folder I clicked the electronic arts one and there was no option for sims 4 just a bunch of files that popped up after I clicked EA desktop so I went to the EA games one and there was a sims 4 option. I had been searching for a good hour so I thought it would be smooth sailing from then but then I saw that I didn't have a mod folder I was confused because all the videos said it would be there after I enabled CC and mods in my game I also enabled script mods then restarted my game so I didn't know why I did not have the folder I couldn't even find the tray folder I ended up finding my document folder by using another comment on here but when I opened the document folder it was empty then I read that if I didn't have a mods folder then I could make one I just had to spell it correctly so the game would notice it as a mods folder so I thought okay let me do this so I can play the mod then I extracted the mod file that I had downloaded and put it in the Mods folder that I created I launched sims 4 and It wasn't there I went to game options to check for CC and mods and there was nothing I'm starting to get frustrated and don't know what to do. can someone please help so I can play this mod?

@072913Grace You can't simply create a Mods folder, so get rid of the one you made. Instead, you'll need to find the Sims 4 folder the game is already using. Here's how:

Place the mods in the Mods folder inside that Sims 4 folder, and they should work.
