@klasd3 Perhaps someone else has an idea of why it isn't working but I'd rather wait to suggest anything more until we know for sure what happens with the most recent version installed. Then, if it still isn't working, we can try some more troubleshooting.

@klasd3 Your thread has been merged with another thread. It seems you're not the only one experiencing this problem. Are you playing on PC or Mac?
Also, please share a screen shot of your mods folder, including the path and be sure the MCCC mod is visible in the image. You can either insert the image or attach it to a reply. I'm on PC and mine looks like this, with MCCC stored in its own folder... - klasd33 years agoSeasoned Novice
This is my mods file with the MCCC and woohoo in it. It’s all unzipped and extracted. Any suggestions?

It’s not longer showing in my start up either

@klasd3 Thanks for sharing that! Based on the image of your folder, it looks like you have at least two different versions installed and both are older. I'm not sure what the red X in the status column means but it's likely there is a problem with those files. When you hover the mouse over the X, do you get a pop up message with an explanation? If so, what does it say?
At any rate, I suggest removing all the existing MCCC mods and modules found in the Mods folder. Having more than one version installed most likely creates a conflict. Then delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder. Search for Deaderpool on Patreon and download the most recent version they released on 12 February. This should be one of the first posts at the top of the list. Extract all the files and place them in your mods folder.

@klasd3 Okay. If the date modified isn't changing when you add the updated versions, then I wonder if maybe you are dragging the files in and clicking "replace". For most if not all mods, using the replace function may not completely update all the code properly. So, you'll want to delete the old ones first and then move the new versions in. This is just for the package and script files, as you should be able to keep any .txt files like the mc_settings file. Keep in mind that as the mod changes, some settings may become obsolete and you may need to update certain settings after loading the updated mod files.
As for the errors, you mentioned your "one drive" is full. If you mean you have some things stored on OneDrive, this will almost certainly cause some problems. So, let us know if that's the case. If you just mean your hard drive is full, I'm wondering if part of the problem could be a lack of memory. Even if most things seem to run fine, some programs need extra space to actually run and not just for the storage space. It might help if you could clear out some files from your hard drive. Do you have a lot of photos, music and videos stored on your laptop? These files tend to be quite large and can take up a fair amount of memory, especially depending on their quality / resolution. You might want to get a thumb drive or external hard drive to store those larger files and have more space for your game files.
It might also be helpful if you could attach a DxDiag in a reply here. The instructions for getting it are at the below link.
https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/I'm not an expert at analyzing system specifications but there are people here who can help. Note that the instructions state this process is for PC but I believe it should be the same for Windows on laptop.

Could you explain ho did you made it work ? Mine doesn't show either

@klasd3 Okay. I really don't know what is causing the issue. Just for your awareness (and for anyone else reading this), the March 14th update, the one that added infants, broke MCCC. I tried playing the game after the update and the MCCC menu did not show up at all. However, Deaderpool has since provided an updated version of MCCC; 2023.1.3.
This is the public post on their Patreon page.Since nothing else has worked up to this point, I suggest testing the game with only this updated version. Move your mods folder to the desktop, then open the game to make sure mods are enabled in options. By opening the game a new Mods folder will be generated in your Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder. Also, delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder.
Once you have downloaded the latest version of MCCC, extract the files and move them directly to your new Mods folder. Don't move the zipped folders though, only the .ts4script and .package files. It should look similar to this.
Then open the game again and begin a new save. This will prevent any changes to current saves until you are done testing. Please let us know if MCCC shows up without any other mods.

@JonaO703 Didn’t work unfortunately. All my other mods are fine though. MC *snip* shows up on the start up page. But MCCC doesn’t. And it was with the latest one as well.
What do I do now? Do I go to the mod developer?@klasd3 I’m going to try repairing the game. I no longer have “error” next to anything in the folder. I’ll let you know if I’m celebrating or crying
@JonaO703 no it didn’t work. Very sad times
