Solved

auto aging glitch

Hello,

This is my first time writing here. My question is anyone still experiencing an auto-aging glitch/bug when you go to build mode like me, even when you disable aging on your sims? Please let me know about your experience so I'll know I'm not alone on this.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

  • Heyy, do you have a solution for this already, I'm experiencing the same thing at the moment ☹️ Was it maybe a certain mod?

You answered on my bug report ^^ Do you maybe know what to do against this bug? Does it only occur for a certain lifespan? (I play on long)

What @jpkarlsen really worked with the glitch.
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.

I honestly removed my save files and tray files and put them on an external drive, deleted the Sims 4 game, and deleted the Origin or EA app, restarted my computer and put my saves and tray files back to their folders and downloaded the Origin or EA app again and start your game as a new save in the game by recovering one of your old saves and by default makes it as a new save. It worked for me so far. Hopefully 🤞 it works for you.
P.S. If you have broken mods you can always update them to be sure, but for me it was the game itself.

@panda_chrissie I also play on the long life span but I always had the aging disabled and it still became a glitch/bug where the sims weren’t close to aging up and the bar was full and glowing. I think since the HS Years expansion pack came out the same auto age glitch started as soon as you go into build mode the glitch appears and others have said that it only happens with short and long life spans.

Same for me ✌️ But I thought the glitch was fixed, it just started to occur now for me ☹️

I'll try to play on normal lifespan edited with MCCC now, maybe this helps, at least I hope so 🤔

I already said this as a general reply but hopefully it helps you.
